Jodie Fiala is an illustrator based in Melbourne Australia. In 2011 she completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts majoring in Painting at Monash University and has exhibited at Off The Kerb Gallery, The Highway Gallery and Wisedog Gallery in Larisa, Greece. Drawing inspirations from botanica and the female form, she creates delicately rendered portraits of ethereal females floating in tranquil spaces of flora and fauna.
She grew up in a family of mixed heritage, rich in inspiration and culture. This instilled in her an appreciation and fascination for Chinese painting and its traditional aesthetics, which has influenced her intricate style and mediums she works with. Her palette is vivid and refined yet occasionally translucent switching between colour pencil, graphite and Chinese ink. With every subject she creates she seeks not to objectify but rather empower through beauty and strength.
Golshan is a Sydney based illustrator and graphic designer who uses both digital and traditional medium to create illustrations and designs for clients all over the world. By drawing inspiration from human behaviour and the magic in our everyday lives she makes illustrations for children and the child inside each adult. Her work has translated into prints, theatre puppets, 3D characters, books and logos. Her ultimate goal in life is not to waste a moment of it.
