Kylie Cuthbertson is a Castlemaine based artist. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Fine Art from Monash University.
In her formative years Kylie forged a profound affinity and respect for the natural world. This informs the principal theme of her current work - the portrayal of the diversity of life to be found in this world.
Kylie’s style of work has been described variously as “heady”, “whimsical” and “energetic” and it is difficult to argue with these descriptions. The application of paint is bold and the brushwork confident. Her work embodies the zest for rich vibrant colours and texture to be found in nature.
